A multidisciplinary approach to neuropathy therapy is a model that Vemax Pharma promotes through daily communication with various groups of physicians – neurologists, neurosurgeons, physiatrists, orthopedists, rheumatologists, primary care physicians.

For this reason, in Vrdnik, at the end of February 2020, in front of more than 60 physicians from all over Serbia, we held a symposium on the following topic: A comprehensive clinical approach in the treatment of neuropathies, at which we highlighted the clear place of our products Neuronal® and Combinerv® in the treatment of neuropathies of various causes.

This was an opportunity to exchange professional views and experiences in the application of our products, but also to socialize in the beautiful surroundings of the Fruška Terme Hotel and the ethno settlement of Vrdnik Kula.

On 17th and 18th January 2020 in Belgrade, the Vemax Pharma company, with the support of the FizioVračar emergency clinic team, trained the first group of 9 students within the course for intra-articular administration of medicines and medical products.

The professional part of the course, consisting of a theoretical introduction, practical work on knee models, and practical work with patients, was conducted by assistant professor Vladan Stevanović, MD, the Institute of orthopedic Surgery Banjica (an ESSKA certified trainer for Serbia) and assistant professor Miodrag Glišić, MD, the Institute of orthopedic Surgery Banjica.

The extraordinary energy and motivated students on the one hand, and the lecturer’s highly professional approach on the other, contributed to the evaluation of this course by participants – physiatrists, orthopedists, sports medicine specialists – as one of the most useful in their professional careers. There is high interest in the followup course that is intended to be held at the same place.

We are proud of the fact that this is the first educational training of this kind in Serbia and that the realization of this project will continue in Belgrade, as well as in other cities of Serbia and the region.
