Directions for use:

Insert the single-dose vaginal applicator into the vaginal canal. Use during the ovulation phase, especially on the most fertile days of the cycle (days 13, 14, and 15), 5 minutes before sexual intercourse.

Mechanism of action:

XY FertiMAX gel is formulated to chemically "mimic" the natural components of seminal fluid (seminal plasma) in order to create an identical environment for sperm.

Role of key groups of ingredients:

• Energy sources (Sugars)
  Sperm cells rely exclusively on sugars from their environment as a source of energy required for movement.
  Seminal fluid: contains high concentrations of fructose (the primary energy source) and glucose.
  XY FertiMAX gel: directly contains glucose and fructose, providing immediate energy for sperm motility.
• Metabolic support and amino acids
  These substances help with energy transport and protect cells from stress.
  Seminal fluid: naturally rich in L-carnitine (essential for sperm maturation and motility) and free amino acids.
  XY FertiMAX gel: enriched with creatine and carnitine, which, according to the manufacturer, enhance sperm endurance on their journey to the egg cell.
• Mineral salts and electrolytes
  Mineral balance is essential for maintaining osmotic pressure (to prevent cells from dehydrating or rupturing).
  Seminal fluid: contains calcium, magnesium, zinc, potassium, and sodium bicarbonate.
  XY FertiMAX gel: contains the corresponding ions in the form of magnesium citrate, calcium pyruvate, zinc gluconate, and sodium bicarbonate in order to achieve compatible osmolality.
• pH regulators and acids
  Seminal fluid: contains citric acid (citrates) and trace amounts of lactic acid, which act as buffers to maintain an alkaline environment (pH 7.2–7.8).
  XY FertiMAX gel: uses citric and lactic acid to precisely adjust the pH level to 7.2–7.5, which is optimal for sperm survival in the otherwise acidic vaginal environment.
• Additional protection and viscosity
  Seminal fluid: contains proteins and mucus that provide viscosity and protect sperm.
  XY FertiMAX gel: uses sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid), which forms a protective biofilm and mimics the natural moisture of cervical mucus.
