Catidral®
Catidral® is indicated for:
- oral treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea
- oral treatment of painful symptoms associated with gastrointestinal disorders
- prophylaxis of diarrhea caused by radiotherapy and chemotherapy
How does Catidral® work?
Diosmectite – is a type of natural clay, characterized by crystalline structure, that:
- helps absorption of fluids and protects the intestinal lumen
- firms up loose stools
- slows down bowel movements
- reduces the risk of dehydration
- protects against hypersecretion of acid and other substances that have an adverse effect on the stomach

Recommended dosage:
For the first 3 days:
- Children > 2 years old: up to 4 packets per day
- Adults: up to 6 packets per day
Then continue with half the dose until the symptoms of diarrhea stop.
