Action
Genante contains a combination of the REVIFAST® patent and trans-resveratrol.
Resveratrol is a polyphenol found mainly in grape skin, which the plant synthesizes in response to fungal infections caused by gray mold or when exposed to ultraviolet radiation. Resveratrol is also found in berries, peanuts, and mulberries. A rich source of resveratrol is the root of the plant Polygonum cuspidatum, which is traditionally used in the treatment of heart conditions.
Resveratrol has many useful properties, but it is best known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. In addition, it improves the metabolic profile, increases the synthesis of nitric oxide, inhibits the oxidation of LDL cholesterol and inhibits the metabolism of arachidonic acid. It shows antiproliferative activity and has anticancer activity.
In addition to the aforementioned beneficial properties, resveratrol performs very important biological functions in human reproduction such as inhibiting androgen production. Since it is safe for use during pregnancy, its use reduces the occurrence of gestational diabetes, preeclampsia and repeated miscarriages.
The main function of resveratrol is the modulation of cellular energy
Resveratrol:
- Improves the balance of cellular energy by activating two important cellular mediators, SIRT1 and AMPK, which are important factors in cellular energy homeostasis. Any disruption of this homeostasis activates mitochondrial-mediated feedback.
- activates SIRT1 (NADH2-dependent deacetylase), which is capable of programming cellular energy metabolism by regulating the transcription of the gene pGC-1α, the main regulator of mitochondrial metabolic activity.
Reservatrol improves mitochondrial function by:
- affecting the biogenesis of mitochondria,
- optimizing mitochondrial potential
- affects ATP production.
Resveratrol represents a therapeutic possibility for optimizing mitochondrial metabolic activity.
Mitochondria play a central role in male and female reproduction.
In male fertility mitochondria are highly localized in the sperm neck. They have an important role in spermatogenesis, meiosis, sperm capacity and sperm motility. It has been scientifically proven that there is a strong correlation between sperm motility and mitochondrial potential.
Mitochondria are of great importance in female fertility.
The number of mitochondria increases dramatically as the oocyte develops, ranging from about 5-10 x 103 to 1-5 x 105 mitochondria in stage II. This increase occurs due to meeting the energy requirements of conception as well as supporting the early development of the embryo.
Mitochondria play a key role in the early stages of embryonic development, efficient maturation of oocytes, in all processes of meiotic division and spindle formation, transmission of the mitochondrial genome (mtDNA) and represent the main contribution in embryogenesis.
Mitochondrial functions change significantly with the age of women, which affects: instability and poor quality of mtDNA, deterioration of oocyte quality, reduced ability of oocytes as well as transmission of mitochondrial abnormalities.
REVIFAST® technology
Resveratrol is barely bioavailable because of reduced absorption due to its low water solubility. Therefore, increasing the bioavailability of resveratrol is necessary in order to exploit the full pharmacological and health benefit of this polyphenol.
REVIFAST® patent is a formulation based on trans-resveratrol supported by a magnesium hydroxide matrix that effectively solves the solubility problem of resveratrol, significantly increasing its dissolution rate, solubility and therefore bioavailability.
GENANTETM thanks to the combination of resveratrol with FAST (REVIFAST) and SLOW (pure resveratrol) absorption, prolongs the absorption time that allows maximum concentration to be reached in the plasma capable of improving the mitochondrial activity of cells involved in the reproductive process.
GENANTETM contains group B vitamins and vitamin D3, which are very important for fertility.
Extrafolat-S
- is a biologically active form of folic acid, which bypasses the MTHFR polymorphisms responsible for the reduced activity of the MTHFR enzyme, thereby effectively reducing hyperhomocysteinemia.
Folates contribute to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy, play a role in the process of cell division, contribute to normal synthesis of amino acids and normal metabolism of homocysteine, normal function of the immune system, normal psychological function and reduction of fatigue and exhaustion.
Along with vitamin B12, folic acid is vital for normal red blood cell formation and cell division.
Vitamin B6
- je zajednički naziv za piridoksin, piridoksal i piridoksamin, koji preko svojih metabolički aktivnih oblika učestvuju u velikom broju enzimskih reakcija, narocito u metabolizmu aminokiselina. Hipotalamus koji oslobađa polne hormone je veoma osetljiv na deficit vitamina B6. Vitamin B6 je regulator hormona i doprinosi ravnoteži hormona estrogena i progesterona.
Vitamin B12
- The active form of vitamin B12 in the cytoplasm is methylcobalamin, which acts as a coenzyme of methionine synthetase, which transfers the methyl group from homocysteine to methionine. The active form in mitochondria is adenosylmethionine, which is important for energy metabolism. Vitamin B12 is necessary for the myelination of nerve cells and the maintenance of normal functions of the central nervous system. It also plays a role in the process of cell division and the synthesis of DNA and RNA. According to recent studies, male infertility problems may be related to B12 hypovitaminosis.
Vitamin D
- is a liposoluble vitamin that is necessary for regulating calcium metabolism in the body. It is necessary for the resorption of calcium from the digestive tract, for its incorporation into bones and teeth, as well as maintaining the concentration of calcium in the blood. In addition, vitamin D has immunomodulating properties. It is of great importance for cell division and maintenance of normal muscle function as well as in male and female fertility.

Dosage
Take 1 to 2 tablets a day with water, preferably on an empty stomach, for at least 3 months.
