Composition:

• Latest-generation folate – Magnafolate® C, a patented active form of folic acid in the form of 5-MTHF calcium salt
• Vitamin B12
• Vitamin D3
• Magnesium bisglycinate

It is used in cases of:

• Folic acid deficiency and in the treatment of hyperhomocysteinemia
• Preconception and pregnancy:
  1. prevention of neural tube defects and other congenital malformations
  2. cases with the MTHFR gene mutation
  3. folic acid deficiency
  4. reduced DNA methylation
  5. anemia

Method of use:

Adults: Take 1 capsule daily.

Warnings:

The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded.
The product should not be used by persons under 18 or by individuals hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
Persons taking medications should consult a physician before use.
Do not use concomitantly with other products containing vitamin D.

Mechanism of action:

MAGNAFOLATE® C is the most stable form of L-methylfolate available. It is a patented crystalline C form of L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate calcium salt with superior characteristics:

• A biologically active form of folate, identical to the folate found in human serum
• Crosses the blood-brain barrier
• Does not mask vitamin B12 deficiency
• Directly absorbed and utilized without prior enzymatic biotransformation

Since the human body cannot produce folic acid, it must be obtained through diet or dietary supplements.

Folic acid contributes to:

Vitamin B12 and folic acid (vitamin B9) are essential for red blood cell production and have a positive effect on immune function and mood.

Vitamin D3 is important because it regulates calcium absorption and maintains healthy phosphorus levels in the blood, which are essential for the development of the baby’s bones, teeth, and central nervous system.

Vitamin D3 deficiency during pregnancy may lead to preeclampsia (high blood pressure), gestational diabetes, preterm birth, reduced likelihood of vaginal delivery, and lower birth weight.
