Tocorelax forte®

Tocorelax forte® is used in:

• Gynecology – it helps relieve the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), menstrual cramps, menstrual pain, and migraine attacks
• Obstetrics – during pregnancy, it helps preserve the normal activity of the uterus, prevents risks that may arise due to increased uterine activity, as well as in case of invasive diagnostic methods (amniocentesis, cordocentesis, and biopsy of chorionic villi)

Operation:

Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) is a fatty acid with a strong antioxidant effect. It helps restore intracellular antioxidants (such as glutathione). ALA is a natural molecule that is insufficiently synthesized in the human body and must consequently be obtained from exogenous sources, such as food and dietary supplements.

Alpha-lipoic acid is a powerful anti-inflammatory agent that has the following effects on the female reproductive system:

• suppression of the inflammatory reaction by reducing the expression of genes for the synthesis of pro-inflammatory substances
• reduction of uterine contractions by controlling the synthesis of inflammatory substances
• prevention of premature shortening of the cervix
• prevention of ruptures in embryo sheaths
• preservation of the cervix integrity
• possible prevention of premature births and miscarriages
• useful as a support in the therapy of preeclampsia and eclampsia
• useful in the neuroprotection of the fetus.
