Organized by the Diabetes Association of Serbia and the Diabetes Board of the Serbian Medical Society, with the support from the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade, the Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences and other professional associations, the 11th Serbian Congress on Diabetes with international participation was held in Belgrade between 24 and 27 November 2019. The congress brought together more than 500 physicians from the country and the region, including the most prominent speakers on diabetes and comorbidity in patients with diabetes.

The Vemax Pharma company arranged a showroom self-presentation at which, among other things, we presented preliminary affirmative mini-study results in the clinical application of Combinerv® in patients with diabetic polineuropathy, and of Cardiovasc plus® in the treatment of hyperlipidemia and hypercholesterolemia in patients with metabolic syndrome.

The aforementioned mini-studies were conducted at the Clinic for Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Diseases of the Clinical Center of Serbia, under the direction of prof. dr. Aleksandra Jotić and prof. dr. Katarina Lalić.
